The vocal effects on the chorus are really why this is my favorite FTF song.

I will say that this is what Skillet needs to be, but give me SOME bass thump.

The bass is nothing but a prop. When he's "playing" it, you can't hear it, and when he stops to wave his arms around like he does in concert, you can't tell he stopped playing. If there is any bass at all, it's so buried in the mix that you can't hear it. Ridiculous.

I like to listen to him talk and spread the good word but Ive tried and tried but absolutely cant stand any of his music. Ive had people suggest dozens of Skillet songs to me, and I honestly can’t finish a single one before I cringe and have to stop it. I still give John mad respect for his spreading the Gospel and am happy for all those who his music does touch.
